The Braves have acquired outfielder Justin Upton from the D-Backs in a seven player deal. The D-Backs will acquire Martin Prado in this deal. Justin, will join his brother BJ Upton on the Braves. BJ recently signed with the Braves this off season.

Varejao out for remainder of season

The Cavs center Anderson Varejao who recently had knee surgery and was expected to be out of action 8-10 weeks recently developed a blood clot. This will keep his sidelined for the rest of the season.
