The Braves have acquired outfielder Justin Upton from the D-Backs in a seven player deal. The D-Backs will acquire Martin Prado in this deal. Justin, will join his brother BJ Upton on the Braves. BJ recently signed with the Braves this off season.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Patriots 28-13 and punched their ticket to Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans. They will face the NFC champions, the San Francisco 49ers.

Lebron James became the youngest player in NBA history at 28 years old to score 20,000 career points. The youngest was Kobe Bryant who was 29 years old when he scored 20,000 points.

Former CFL (Canadian Football League) coach Marc Trestman will be the next head coach of the Chicago Bears. He will replace Lovie Smith.

Manti Te'o girlfriends death was a hoax

The inspirational story that Manti Te'o said made him play better was all a hoax. His girlfriend never died. Manti said, "To realize that I was the victim of what was apparently someone's sick joke and constant lies was, and is, painful and humiliating."
